After childhood, in the 1960s and early ’70s, my teeth were filled multiple times, and they started to break and crumble. I had all my teeth removed under conscious sedation and replaced with complete sets to bite and chew with confidence that the teeth were not going to break, and I have stopped the cycle of visiting a dentist every month to ‘patch things up’. I have received the very best and most wonderful service with results to match.

I began the treatment with much trepidation, as this was a significant undertaking for me. From the start, I found Gurwinder very appreciative of my situation. Throughout the programme, he has kept me informed of all the procedures involved and answered all my questions as we went along. I always felt very involved in the whole process. The work done has turned out well for me. I have had total confidence in Gurwinder throughout and have benefited from his expertise, friendliness and patience, for which I’m grateful. Sophie has also been professional and supportive in all her interactions. They make a good team. Additionally, we’ve had many laughs along the way. Thanks.

Well, here I go, I have never been a fan of writing reviews, but in this instance, I am willing to make an exception.

Why? I felt that I couldn’t comment on any one of my twenty-five visits over fourteen months because the complete process should be reviewed as a whole. This entire process was intended to correct years of dental neglect on my part, primarily due to my fear of dentists. What led me to make this decision to undergo this lengthy period of treatment? A combination of taking care of my health and the fact that my teeth looked so bad meant I rarely smiled.

For the review, I was referred by my usual dentist, as they were unable to carry out the necessary treatment. My first appointment was for a consultation. I didn’t know what to expect, but from the time I arrived, my anxiety had disappeared. I felt relaxed because the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. That feeling extended to all the staff I came into contact with, remaining consistent throughout every one of my visits. My second visit was to discuss the results of my consultation and to obtain answers to the questions I had about the options mentioned in the report. I agreed on the treatment plan, which started at that point with the extraction of two teeth. I won’t go into the details of each of my visits; some were okay, some were unpleasant, and I had to accept that. All the treatments were carried out with care and respect for my well-being by Gurwinder, the Prosthodontist, assisted by Sophie, the Dental Nurse.

Now that the treatment plan has been completed, I can relearn how to smile, something I hadn’t done much of for a few years, and I am also feeling more confident. So, it is with much thanks to Gurwinder and Sophie that I can say that my life has changed. Thanks also go to all the staff I came into contact with during my frequent visits.

My appointment was a one-hour assessment to determine the best course of action for addressing my damaged molar. Initially apprehensive, I felt optimistic by the end. Dr Dhesi performed the most comprehensive and detailed dental examination I have ever had and, having done so, sat with me at the computer screen and explained it in great detail, using images from both X-rays and a digital scan. He explained every part of his treatment plan with direct evidence from the imaging. His demeanour has the rare balance of being calm, informal, and reassuring while remaining professional. Thus far, I have nothing but praise and would recommend him unreservedly.

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. I had previously had a lifelong nervousness about dentists, and partly as a result, I had developed many complex problems requiring a large number of treatments and procedures, including root canals, extractions, implants and bone grafting—the stuff of nightmares.

However, from the first time I attended, I knew I was in safe hands. Gurwinder is a superb dentist and provided all my treatments with excellent results. He was so good that despite the complexity of the treatments required, I don’t think I ever felt any real discomfort, which I find incredible. Moreover, his care and patience are truly exceptional. He developed a detailed plan for all the treatment I needed and explained it clearly and in detail in a way that I could understand. At each stage, he talked me through what was happening, so I felt a real sense of progress.

The results have been excellent, and I am so lucky to have found him. All the staff (whom I have met many times, of course!) are always unfailingly professional, polite, and helpful. I would and will recommend it to anyone who needs a dentist. If they can help me, they can help anyone!

I hadn’t been to the dentist in a long while, and the two lovely young ladies who looked after me made the whole experience really welcoming and professional. The service was absolutely top-class — it honestly looks like I’ve got brand new teeth after the clean! I’m genuinely impressed and would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

At each stage of my extensive dental treatment I was treated with patience, support and given full guidance to look after my new implant.The quality of the care from the dentist, dental nurse and receptionists, is excellent. The practical aspects of each procedure was explained prior to it being completed. This included a detailed lists of costs and the timescales.Gurwinder was willing to answer questions and listen to my concerns. I have found my experience as a patient so much better than I had anticipated at the beginning of my treatment. I saw Dr Dhesi after having had extremely negative experiences with three different dentists, with a long standing and painful infection and a badly performed extraction. Dr Dhesi was extremely competent, confident, reassuring and kind and performed a second extraction, and an implant treatment which solved a long standing problem. At all times he wastransparent and clear in his communication about the different stages of the treatment, and performed these to the highest standards I’ve experienced. I wish I had gone to see him first. I can’t recommend his services enough.

Thank you for taking care of us! My 6 year daughter chipped her front adult tooth so I needed the right care for her to ensure no further damage was done. I spoke with Dr Dhesi and he answered all my questions and covered off the concerns I had as she grows. He explained the process and we went ahead wity the treatment. Never been a fan of going to the dentist (who is?) but I've never been so keen to return after an appointment! I genuinely felt looked after. Making an appointment was easy over the phone and during my session, Dr Gurwinder really listened to me when speaking about my insecurities with my teeth and was very open with advice on what treatments I could have. Feel very blessed to now have a dentist like this within travelling distance.
